Saddler is an accomplished professional drummer and music educator with over 20 years of international experience spanning four countries. His career began with formal musical studies in Guatemala, eventually leading him to the Los Angeles College of Music, where he earned an honors degree and was recognized with the Outstanding Scholarship Award.
As a founding member and drummer for the Turkish-American band Yirmi7, Saddler relocated to Istanbul and played a pivotal role in the group’s significant commercial success. The band’s discography has amassed over 170 million Spotify streams and 125 million YouTube views, earning 14 music awards and high-profile features in publications such as GQ and Cosmopolitan. Following this success, he collaborated with acclaimed artist Sena Şener, recording a full-length album—which included tracks featured on Netflix—and completing a tour of nearly 100 live performances.
In addition to his performance career, Saddler is a prominent figure in music education. He is the author of the instructional book 30 Day Hand Challenge and the founder of a global Patreon community that supports students in more than 40 countries. Over the past five years, he has mentored more than 500 drummers at StudioRepublik Dubai. Currently based in the UAE, Saddler remains an active performer on the local circuit, maintaining a consistent presence in the Dubai jazz scene with weekly residencies and performances.
